You will take a lead in training and education, to enable staff at all levels to continually develop and meet their continued professional development requirements.

This is a strategic role that will sit within the Early Help Leadership Team although provide leadership and oversight of the training provision across all areas of Hampshire CAMHS. They will be required to foster close working relationships with both Professional Leads and Operational Managers providing strategic input, update and advice to internal meetings such as Hampshire Leadership Team (HLT), Hampshire Innovation and Development Group (HIDG) and Hampshire Professional Leads Group. In addition to these internal relationships the post holder will be required to build links across the Integrated Care System (ICS) and to collaborate on thinking and planning in relation to the training and education around children and young people's emotional and mental health.

Within their role they will lead on and provide strategic oversight for various training programmes such as the Psychological Perspectives in Education and Primary Care (PEPP) Training Programme, the training contact with Hampshire County Council, oversight of the internal and external staff training provision as well as the New to CAMHS and Induction Programmes.

In order to be a successful Training Lead in our service you will be:

- Professional qualification, with evidence of continuing professional development, in a field relevant to child and adolescent mental health.
- Evidence of a relevant teaching qualification.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and varied role
- Experienced working within a mental health setting
- Experienced working in CAMHS (Children and Young People’s mental health services)
- Experienced in leadership, change management and across teams

Flexibility with working patterns to include some weekend and evening work is essential - as is own transport as the role involves travel across the whole Hampshire County area. SPFT staff have the capacity to work from home remotely where applicable and in agreement with your line manager.
