WS Training have an opportunity for a Functional Skills Maths Expert to join our 'Ofsted Grade 2' Delivery Team.

Supporting the Head of Quality & Skills in ensuring a relevant and up to date curriculum is delivered to learners, internally and externally to maximise attendance, retention, achievement, progression and value added.

Supporting and embedding maths across the delivery of the curriculum.

**3 days a week 22.5hrs**

**25k-28k** **FTE**

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Manage the functional skills elements on courses as agreed with the Head of Skills & Quality.
- To work independently across the business to ensure the quality of the curriculum in functional skills maths, taking actions to improve quality and to cascade best practice.
- Lead on the development of staff, teaching methods and strategies as part of the business policy of continuous improvement.
- Work with the tutor teams on their delivery models ensuring the embedding of maths, making recommendations to the Head of Skills & Quality.
- Formally review the maths functional skills curriculum, its delivery and effectiveness on an annual basis and to make recommendations for change.
- Advise course teams on curriculum design, planning and delivery.
- Ensure all Quality Assurance procedures are fully complied with.
- Encourage tutor teams to develop formal and informal links with industry in relation to functional skills and to ensure curriculum development is industry led.

- D34/VI
- EV experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15,000.00-£16,800.00 per year
