We are seeking a Senior Administrator for an independent company in Newton Abbot.

**JOB TITLE**: Senior Administrator

**LOCATION**: Newton Abbott

**SALARY**: £25,000 - £28,000 (including bonus)

**HOURS**: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm

**THE COMPANY AND ROLE**: Our client, an independent specialist healthcare company who are rapidly expanding across the South West, are looking for a Senior Administrator to join their team.

The primary role of the Senior Administrator is to coordinate and oversee administrative duties within the office and to ensure the office operates efficiently and smoothly. The Senior Administrator is central to the efficient running of meetings, communications and of task & project tracking throughout the service.

The Senior Administrator provides critical support to the Service Manager, Registered Manager and Lead Nurse ensuring that their meetings and schedules are well run, actions arising are recorded and tracked through to completion and also that all resources are in place for them to perform their roles.

**KEY DUTIES**:

- Ensure all software systems are running effectively and support with staff training
- Develop and maintain document management and filing systems
- Manage all product ordering on behalf of the service
- Liaise regularly with IT and other technical support to ensure smooth running of all IT and office equipment and systems
- Establish and manage positive relationships with suppliers, landlords and 3rd parties working with the care service
- Manage the check in and health and safety of visitors
- Liaise with Health and Safety providers and ensure that all processes, equipment, signage etc are all maintained within the office
- Ensure phones & correspondence are answered in a timely and professional way at all times
- Manage the efficient and effective recording of data to enable smooth and timely collation for all internal and external reporting requirements
- First point of contact for GDPR issues and administration in the care service
- Support with HR administration
- Developing and implementing office policies under the direction of the Director of Care
- Allocate tasks and assignments to other admin team members and monitor performance
- Manage projects and reporting requirements
- Organise am social events
- Support recruitment of other workers in the office
- Monitor the complaints system
- Ensure all new enquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner

- Highly organised, task focused and able to monitor and achieve deadlines
- Able to understand the commercial objectives of the service and demonstrate consideration of these as actions and decisions are taken in the running of the office
- Able to function independently and effectively in a fast paced, dynamic and rapidly changing environment
- Able to ensure the office is always operated with customer service excellence in mind by managing the experience of guests, enquirers, and clients in a professional and responsive way
- Highly competent with IT systems
