A **Telemarketing Specialist** is responsible for conducting outbound calls to potential or existing customers with the goal of promoting products or services, generating sales, or gathering information. This role involves both sales and customer service functions, requiring excellent communication skills and a strong ability to persuade and engage clients over the phone.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Outbound Calls**:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers based on leads, or marketing campaigns.
- Introduce and explain products or services to customers, highlighting their benefits.
- Engage with customers to identify their needs, answer questions, and overcome objections.
- **Sales Generation**:
- Achieve daily, weekly, or monthly sales targets set by management.
- Promote new products, services, or special offers to maximize sales and revenue.
- Close sales, book appointments and follow-up calls when necessary.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Follow up with customers after the initial contact to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty.
- **Lead Qualification**:
- Qualify leads by determining the level of interest, and decision-making authority.
- Identify and nurture potential sales opportunities through effective questioning and rapport-building.
- **Reporting**:
- Provide regular feedback to management regarding call outcomes, customer feedback, and potential sales opportunities.
- Track individual performance metrics such as calls made, sales conversions, and follow-ups.
- **Compliance and Script Adherence**:
- Follow company scripts while maintaining a friendly and engaging tone.
- Ensure all calls comply with industry regulations and company policies (e.g., 'Do Not Call' lists, privacy regulations).
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills.
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in B2B (business-to-business) or B2C (business-to-consumer) telemarketing.
- Familiarity with the product or service industry related to the telemarketing role.

Pay: £22,880.00-£25,020.00 per year
