**Join Our Finance Team as a Finance Assistant**
**About Us**:
We're thrilled to announce a new opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our established finance team. If you're a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and impeccable attention to detail, we invite you to be part of our dynamic team.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Finance Assistant, your role will encompass a range of crucial tasks, including:
- **Purchase Invoices**: Processing and managing payment of purchase invoices.
- **Customer Receipts**: Handling the processing of customer receipts.
- **Reconciliations**: Conducting reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- **Legal Cashier Support**: Assisting the Legal Cashier function, including raising sales invoices, reconciliations, updating legal registers and court logs, and data entry (full training provided).
- **Cross-Company Collaboration**: Working across multiple companies within our group.
- **Administrative Support**: Supporting the Finance Manager and the finance team with various administration duties as needed.
- **Office Duties**: Answering office phones, managing daily post, and contributing to general finance tasks.
- **Team Collaboration**: Building strong working relationships with the finance team and other departments across the business to ensure timely resolution of queries.
- **Audit Support**: Assisting with our annual audit.
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- **Finance Experience**: A minimum of 3 years of previous experience working in a finance department.
- **Qualifications**: AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualification or QBE (Qualified by Experience).
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Knowledge of SARs is a plus.
- **Numerical and Analytical Skills**: Strong numeric and analytical abilities.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage your workload and assist others.
- **Deadline-Oriented**: Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and company guidelines.
- **Communication**: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- **Confidentiality**: An understanding of handling sensitive information with discretion.
- **Relationship Building**: Ability to build relationships and collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority.
- **Software Skills**: Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- **Willingness to Learn**: A desire to learn and develop within the team.
