**MBDA Missile Systems - Deliver for a more secure tomorrow**
An opportunity exists to lead and develop a multi-functional team delivering Logistics Services across our Live Build Manufacturing Site in Henlow.
**The Role**:
- Promote and maintain effective working relationships with the Trade Unions
- Manage staff and assign work load to support production and other Henlow stake holders
- Responsible for efficient stock management
- Safety stock (non MRP materials)
- FIFO
- Life management (Relifing)
- Order fulfilment
- maintain an accurate inventory - cycle counting, accurate data entry, structured training
- Optimise inert stores layout to drive picking efficiencies
- Effective delivery of material to production to meet stake holders needs and zero impact waiting time
- Optimise stores layout to reduce travel time from stores to production
- Responsible for efficient utilisation of storage capability / capacity
- Audit Compliance - Inventory, licencing and safety
- Drive data accuracy - Stock counts, data entry, picking etc
- Explosive store management and licence compliance
- Accurate and timely reporting of NEQ- onsite and third party
- co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- Documentation record retention
- Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation (job aids) and training and safety records
- Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose
- Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships
- Worldwide delivery of hardware maintaining compliance with both MBDA Process and eternal legislation
- Work with Export Control Department to achieve and maintain DIT Accreditation
- Co-ordination of transport meeting ADR requirements including dangerous goods
- Establish and maintain Industry and company best practice utilising continuous improvement activities
- Control of Consumables budget
- Maintain AAC Accreditation for MoD Stock
- Maintain Health & Safety for area of responsibility
- Schedule multi-functional activities to meet the business demands
- Establish and maintain good housekeeping practices that will ensure a safe working environment that is consistent with all Health & Safety at Work and COSHH requirements.
