Manufacturing Engineer Henlow Salary is negotiable + £400 per week accommodation bonus 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter) Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a large engineering company who operate within the defence sector and are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who understands Assembly & Integration to work on site in Henlow. What will you be working on: - You will be mainly required to provide reactive Manufacturing Engineering support to minimise production downtime. - On top of that, you will also evaluate technical issues to develop proposals for investigations and/or solutions, including process improvements. And couple more things you should know how to do: - Compile and update manufacturing instructions - Carry out investigations into a full range of problems, issues or developments and develop and prepare solutions, individually or as a member of a project team. - Support the non-conformance process using SAP, and carry out relevant root cause analysis and define corrective actions as an individual or member of a team. - Contribute to all aspects of continuous improvement activities within the authority designated to Manufacturing Engineering, to aid in the delivery of improved throughput across the department. - You should also have the ability to interpret design drawings with a view to producing manufacturing build instructions for both skilled and semi-skilled operators. A little bit about yourself: - You have experience across all aspects of at least a single engineering area/ domain and an appreciation of other areas. - You also have substantial analytic and problem-solving skills. - You can communicate not only verbally but also in writing in a style appropriate to the audience. - And some organisational/co-ordination experience; ability to work with and through others would be nice.
