My client is a criminal law specialist, building a strong reputation in the Birmingham and Warwickshire criminal law market. Having been awarded further criminal contracts, they are looking for experienced and skilful Duty Solicitors to handle MagistratesCourt work.
This role would suit either an existing Duty Solicitor, someone who will be eligible for the next Duty Rota, or a criminal Solicitor or Barrister who is keen to gain the Duty Accreditation, which the firm is happy to assist with. You will take on a busy caseloadof Magistrate and Crown Court casework, police-station and prison attendance, dealing with a typically broad range of criminal matters.
The firm is obviously fully aware of the challenges that the public law market currently faces - however, they feel that, as they have become a well-respected dedicated Criminal firm, they understand the market and can support you in achieving your career goals,whether it be attaining Higher Rights or increasing your remuneration.
