**Project Manager-MEP | Kent, TN12 | Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm | £55,000 per annum (up to £70,000 OTE)**

The Project Manager, MEP supports the Division in providing leadership and technical expertise in the key areas of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering ensuring robust systems, and processes. The incumbent has direct responsibility for a portfolioof construction projects as may be assigned. You must ensure quality in keeping with international best practices and national industry standards. This role involves the day-to-day management of project-related Human Capital to ensure a level of job satisfactionaligned with VAREO’s strategic business objectives as well as to maximize efficiency within the team by championing an effective work environment.

**Are you the right person for the job?**

**If you have the following, then the answer is yes**
- Min Mechanical and/or Piping Engineering qualification
- Professional accreditation with Project Management certification and Engineering accreditation
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing large construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of Building Codes
- SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely
- CSCS Card for site works
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing techniques
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques, and concepts
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written as well as presentation skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools and software relevant to job functions
- More than 5 years of progressive experience in Project Management in the Construction sector (ideally in central London)
- Some experience of working with Water Treatment, Recycling, and Wastewater equipment a bonus

**Your role as a Project Manager-MEP will involve, but not be limited to**
- You will be delivering 3-4 projects simultaneously comprising various levels of scope complexity and project value
- Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects
- Creation of the appropriate Project Initiation Document (PID), setting success criteria in line with business objectives and project deliverables.Tracking, managing, and updating throughout project delivery
- Produce the programme of works, risk register, and assumptions for baseline at the start of the project and gain approval from the Managing Director
- Produce and maintain project documentation according to company policy and that required by client procedures
- Assists in the development of and ensuring standard operating procedures are relevant, appropriate, and up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices as they relate to MEP
- Assists in the development of and reviews designs for MEP equipment and systems, providing guidance in the preparation of related engineering drawings, datasheets, material specifications, and selection
- Develops training plans and facilitate training of all employees within the Division.
- Responsible for updating site documentation and adhering to agreed systems and processes
- Complete and close out projects to programme
