We are seeking a **Digital Vehicle Buyer** to lead the sourcing of high-quality vehicles while driving the continuous digital enhancement of our purchasing processes. You’ll use data-driven strategies and advanced digital platforms to ensure our inventory remains first-rate.

This role involves not only sourcing vehicles but also consistently identifying and implementing improvements in our digital procurement methods. As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting over 1,000 car sales per month across our four locations, advancing innovation and efficiency in vehicle sourcing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate and bid on vehicles from pre-selected auction lists provided by the team.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and enhance our vehicle purchasing model using digital tools and platforms, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all bids on the pre-selected list are completed within the set timeframe, demonstrating urgency.
- Identify opportunities for improvements within our purchasing model.
- Submit a high volume of bids from the pre-selected auction list, working efficiently with the procurement team.
- Maintain a structured and organised approach with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrate a professional, respectful, inclusive, and collaborative approach as a key member of our purchasing team.

**Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience**:

- Solid understanding of used car appraisals, with the ability to assess damage from images.
- A passion for leveraging digital platforms to continuously improve and enhance the buying process.
- Experience using google sheets and online bidding platforms would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills for effective interactions with sellers and suppliers.
- Proven track record of driving sustainable growth and process improvement.
- Experience working within specific budget constraints.
- Ability to understand used car appraisals and identify damage from images.
- Flexible scheduling to meet tight deadlines.
- Technologically adept and accountable.
