CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR - SAMEDAY COURIER - WIDNES
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced customer service operator to join their vibrant team based in the centre of WIDNES. This is a role where you will be required to deal with all customer related issues in a professional manner. You will have responsibilityfor building strong relationships with potential and existing customers to encourage them to use our services. A strong phone manner is key to the role and you must be comfortable working under pressure. You must have the desire and determination to succeedin a fast paced office environment. DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Pricing deliveries up on a number of different vehicles.
- Liaising with our traffic department to share information.
- Following up potential sales leads and opportunities in a confident and professional manner.
- Communicating with customers regarding the progress of deliveries and managing their expectations.
- Relationship management.
- Assist in the Management of a small team.
- Occasionally being on call with other members of staff via a rota.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- A proven track record of working in a similar B2B customer service role.
- Experience of working within the courier / transport industry would be highly advantageous.
- A dynamic and confident phone manner is absolutely essential to the position.
- Ability to problem solve efficiently and think outside of the box.
- Experience of working in a target driven office environment.
- B2B sales experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
- A good knowledge of the geography of the UK.

QUALIFICATIONS
- GCSE Maths and English
WORKING HOURS
- Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700 with one hour for lunch.
SALARY
ypto £26,500 (depending on experience) plus performance bonuses.
