**So, what will the role of Stock Controller/Order Picker entail?**

As the Stores Person you will be responsible for the efficient stores operation with the maintenance and management of all stock using computerised systems. Performing a variety of duties including kitting and de-kitting of orders, dealing with shortages and preparing components for production.

You will also be responsible for packing orders and preparing dispatch documentation.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Kitting and de-kitting of stock
- Preparing components for production
- Maintaining stock records and performing audits
- Managing computerised records of stock
- Completing all stock paperwork, orders and delivery notes
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment within the stock area

**What will I need in order to be considered for this Stores Person vacancy?**
- Proven experience within stores would be an advantage
- Superb organisational skills with a methodical approach to your work
- High level of attention to detail whilst working at pace
- A flexible, resilient ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent prioritisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Reliable and diligent with a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- The ability to prioritise your workload

Although not essential, previous experience in an electronics related role with knowledge of electronic components or similar would be an advantage.

**Salary**: £24,300.00 to £26,300.00 per annum dependent on experience. On occasions where overtime is required this will be paid in addition to your salary.

**Other Benefits**: Bonus, annual leave starting at 23 days plus bank holidays rising by one day each year to a maximum of 25 days plus public holidays, Employee Assistance Program and free onsite car parking.

**Hours of Work**: 7.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 am to 1:00 pm Friday.

**Location**: CH2 Chester (Cheshire)
