Machine Operator/warehouse Operative/ Driver

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials within the warehouse.
- Deliver and Collect materials from customers and suppliers.
- Cut and Handle sheet plastic and other plastic materials inline with customer / supplier orders on wall saw.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including the inspection of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for dispatch.
- Load and unload lorries efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse if required - Fabrication / Assembly etc.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential, with a strong understanding of materials handling.
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred to assist with basic maintenance of equipment.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures, as well as picking and packing processes.
- A valid forklift licence is required but not essential; additional driving qualifications are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm (45min dinnner break)

Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm

Minimum Driving Experience 4+ years

FLT Experience Essential

Wage Review / Increase from 1st April 2025

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
