Are you looking to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable young people?
We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Waking Night Worker who is passionate about creating and providing a nurturing, non-judgemental and inclusive home environment for vulnerable young people, to join our growing team
It would be great if you have previous residential care experience or a NVQ 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, however if not, we will fully support you in your new career with our extensive in-house induction and training programmes.
As a Waking Night Worker you will build positive relationships with our young people enabling them to feel safe, whilst remaining alert and observant at all times to supervise and record movements during the night.
SWAAY utilises a 6-week rolling rota to provide consistency and ease of predictability in your shift patterns.
We have both full time and part time positions available.

**About us**
SWAAY is a specialist provider of care for young males aged 11-18, with developmental trauma, attachment difficulties and who have perpetrated sexually harmful behaviour.
For over 30 years, we have been providing specialised, high-quality care designed to meet the needs of our young people across our residential, education and therapeutic services.
We work to reduce the risk these young people pose, meet their complex needs and help them manage their physical and behavioural difficulties so they can leave their past traumas behind, build healthy relationships and lead responsible and rewarding adult lives.

**Job type**: Permanent, Full time and part time positions available
**Salary**: From £20,000 (£10.25 per hour) depending on experience and qualifications
**Shifts**: 10.30pm-8.30am (10 hour shift)
