We are happy to offer this opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our team to help us to recruit and support volunteers.
This is an integral role in our team, with an vital part to play in the safe recruitment of volunteers and the effective management of those volunteers once in role.
The Involvement, Experience and Volunteering Team support services to capture, respond to and act upon feedback, to work collaboratively to improve services and to recruit and place volunteers. We are a team of 14 people, with a broad portfolio of work and the important task of ensuring the Trust involves and listens to the people it serves, as well as recruiting volunteers to compliment the work of paid staff.
To provide comprehensive administration for Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Volunteering Service.
The main focus will be on the recruitment and management of volunteers, which includes administrational and secretarial work, as well as supporting the Volunteering Service Manager.
We have a huge variety of opportunities in our expansive Trust covering geographically from South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire to Leicester, providing mental health inpatient and community services, community health services, forensic mental health services and secure prison healthcare across the East Midlands.

The role focusses on the recruitment, preparation, training and placing of volunteers in roles across the Trust and their effective and safe management once in role. The role is also responsible for providing a warm welcome and a clear introduction to the Trust.

Please note that this post may not meet the pay and skill level required for a Skilled worker visa
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of Agenda for Change Band 3. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
