At Bloom Social Housing CIC we are seeking an organised and efficient Housing Officer to join our team. This position will require travel, covering a large number of properties across Gloucester, Hereford, Worcester and Somerset.

You will be responsible for ensuring properties are compliant and well audited as well as ensuring our tenants are being provided with safe and stable housing.

**Daily duties will include**:

- Respond to day to day tenant queries
- Dealing with disrepair issues with Tenants / Leaseholders on the phone and in person and liaising back to the property department
- Completing general DIY tasks
- Ensuring keys, security, access, gardening, window cleaning and general standards and safety are maintained
- Working closely with our property department, support teams and contractors.
- Organise regular inspections and maintain certification on properties in your property portfolio.
- Provide support to tenants regarding completion of tenancy agreements, benefit forms if applicable.
- Conduct property viewings.
**Knowledge, skills and experience required**:

- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years experience working in Housing
- Experienced and confident using Microsoft and online software systems
- Driving License (and use of own car)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive attitude, able to work on own initiative and a confident and effective communicator
- Flexibility to work the odd evening/weekend for a few hours to conduct viewings if required

This position will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required to incorporate travel time when attending appointments, however this position is standardised at 9am till 5pm.

**Salary**: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
