**Financial Reporting Analyst** - **The Role:
The jobholder will interpret and analyze financial results, cost analysis and budgets and prepare meaningful reports for the management team and shareholders to highlight variances from the forecasted financial performance as well as to identify potentialareas of improvement for the business.

**Financial Reporting Analyst** -** Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Finance and Data Analytics teams to extract financial and non-financial data to create meaningful reports as requested by the management
- Identify any ongoing issues that affect financial reporting and suggest changes and implementations to improve the efficiency of the reporting process
- Build and manage dashboards, weekly and monthly reports for the management team and Board members
- Use existing systems to increase automation in the reporting process and to improve the current reporting procedures
- Analyze actual financial results and compare them to forecast and explain variances when necessary
- Compile and analyze the industry KPIs and ratios to be presented in formal meetings
- Extract and format data for inclusion in the investor’s reporting pack as well as for MIS reporting
- Be able to critique data, analyse trends and projections in advance for necessary action to be taken
- Create dynamic dashboards and performance reports for statistical analysis and MIS reporting in an easy-to-understand formats
- Assist the Group Financial Reporting Manager in the preparation of the annual financial plan, as well as periodic forecasts and estimates
- Assist the Finance team in the preparation of the information to be included in the year-end financial statements and statutory reporting
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Responsible for maintaining back up files and ensures that all financial reports are well organized

**Financial Reporting Analyst** - You:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is considered a plus
- High proficiency in financial modelling techniques
- Strong understanding of financial information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively
- Demonstrates commitment to the role with personal initiatives and can work independently as well as part of the team
