They have offices based in Leicester and are commutable from all areas of Leicester Leicestershire Loughborough Coalville Hinckley Nuneaton Coventry Derby Nottingham and Rugby.
As a Senior Accountant, there will be a variety of tasks and duties that you will be involved in such as:
- Develop and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Monitor and control running expenses and identify areas for cost-saving and improvement.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management to support decision-making processes.
The successful Senior Accountant will have the following:
- Qualified in either ACCA / ACA / CIMA
- Proven experience with working in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, retail and logistics
- Ability to challenge at every opportunity
- Confidence with presenting to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, experienced with producing Analysis Reports
- Always up for a challenge
The package on offer for the Senior Accountant:
- Salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
