Quality Assurance Manager - Durham County Council.This is a full time temporary role (37 hours per week) lasting for a minimum of 5 months. The office base for this role is Abbeywoods Business Park in Durham DH1.About the role/team:Durham County Councilare currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager to work alongside their existing Quality Assurance Manager, supporting the service while DCC wait for a newly appointed permanent candidate to commence in post. DCC would like the post holder tofocus on: Supervisions/appraisals for Registered Managers. Quality Assurance audits/supporting homes to develop their practice. Monitor requirements/recommendations from Ofsted inspections ensuring that themes are addressed. Act and comment on Reg 44 reportsmonitoring actions taken. Monitor Ofsted action plans with Registered Managers. Support Registered Managers with impact assessments for new admissions. Support Registered Managers with day to day challenges and crises including attending strategy meetings.Continue to ensure that staff teams understand the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.Experience Required: Proven experience in a similar role to the above.Essential Requirements: Eligible to work in the UK.
