Job Title: Estate Operative
AIM OF POST
The purpose of the Estate Operative is to service the development, its guests and visitors by ensuring the development is maintained and presented to a high standard, in accordance with health and safety requirements. Job duties will include but are not limited to;High pressure jet washingBin Rotation, moving and compacting via heavy duty machineryLitter pickingGeneral grounds & estate maintenance.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General AccountabilitiesLead by example, adopting JFM x Battersea Reach policies, procedures and values.Constantly strive for continuous improvement both personally and for the team.Delivering excellent customer service.Take personal responsibility for understanding and following the company’s Health & Safety policies and practices.Able to handle confidential and sensitive information, dealing with issues and queries with utmost professionalism.Uphold all rules and regulations to ensure all residents can enjoy their homes safely and securely.Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with peers, employees, residents and guests, working collaboratively to achieve overall business outcomes.
Role Specific AccountabilitiesTo be a main point of contact and be responsible for regular inspections, cleaning and maintenance of the development, which may involve the outer grounds as well as the internal common areas, as prescribed by the supervisor or manager, tending to issues upon request, reporting any defects as required.To carry out security inspections and operations as requiredTo be responsible for quality customer service for residents and guests whilst carrying out work, and strive for continuous improvement.To conduct the required health and safety inspections and activities to assist in keeping the development and workplace a safe environment for all.Monitor the health and safety performance of the development including that of contractors, staff and visitors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCYExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent IT and numeracy skills.-

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
