A fantastic Opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for Security Control Room Operator, who will work at our site in Battersea.

You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

We require Officers to be CCTV licenced.

**Main purpose of the job**:
The Control Room Operator provides an essential overwatch and support role to the entire security team across the Battersea Power Station Estate. You are responsible for ensuring all the staff, client staff, tenants and visitors feel that they have a professional and secure support team to alert and advise them in times of need. The role is pro-active to prevent incidents escalating and evidential to record and monitor. You will be expected to assist the estate team, ensuring that the environment is not only running as smoothly as possible but exceeding expectations.

Your Control Room Operator duties will include the monitoring of the access control and CCTV system in the SCR ensuring that that the system is operating correctly, responding to incidents, and monitoring alarms using Genetec system.

CCTV Duties & Responsibilities can be broken down as follows:
1. Responsible for the actively monitoring the health safety and welfare of all officers across the Estate.

3. Using the clients Emergency Notification System to inform the Estate Management Team of any incidents as they occur.

4. Ensuring you are fully conversant with procedures across the Estate.

5. Protection of the information contained within the Security Control room.

6. Following and implementing daily tasks from management.

7. Reporting accurately and factually on incidents and accidents on the Estate.

8. To oversee the health, safety and welfare of all visitors and staff on the Estate, using CCTV systems.

9. To uphold the ‘five-star customer service’ attitude.

10. To work in tangent with the other teams following the Estates ‘One Team’ ethos.

11. To have awareness of the client’s business and brands.

12. To ensure client satisfaction.

13. To uphold honesty and integrity in all aspects of the position.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will hold a valid CCTV SIA Licence and have a good level of English both written and spoken. You will also need to be customer focused with the ability to remain calm in emergencies and dealing with customers. The ability to work in a team is also essential, along with the ability to work unsupervised.

Additionally, you will have a competent level of IT skills. Previous security experience would also be beneficial.
