**What is an Electrical Wholesaler?**

Electrical wholesalers sell the products we all use in our homes, businesses, entertainment venues, cafes that give us access to electricity - from lighting our homes through to floodlighting a football match, from recharging a mobile phone to recharging an electric vehicle. The products you will be working with are used in domestic, industrial, and commercial settings, and are installed by contractors and electricians.

**Summary of the Apprenticeship Role**

As a Customer Sales Apprentice, you will be working in sales department of the business, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone like you to start your career in the Electrical Wholesale sector.

We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join our busy branch. After full training, responsibilities will include:

- Process customer purchases/orders via the computer system
- Liaising with other departments
- Customer payments/dealing with enquiries over the trade counter
- Sales calls to customers and suppliers
- Answering the telephone to customers and suppliers
- Sales Data input

**Apprenticeship Training**

As an apprentice you will complete a Customer Service Level 2 qualification with a national Training Provider. Your apprenticeship Training will focus on your job, is completed at the workplace, and you will be allocated a tutor and a study session in your working week.

**Components of the Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship**
- Competence/Knowledge based qualification
- Functional Skills - Maths/ English (if required)
- End Point Assessment - Final Knowledge Test, Project and Discussion

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, and all being well, there will be a full-time role with the company. From there you could progress to other job roles such as external sales, team leader, assistant manager and even Branch Manager.

**Salary**: £14,206.40-£19,750.00 per year
