**Job Description**:
**About This Role**

As Senior Associate, Medial information, you will be responsible for responding to second line Medical Information enquiries on Biogen UK and Ireland Products. In addition, to typical Medical Information activities, there are also opportunities to support the Medical Affairs team, as per business need.

**What You’ll Do**

**Medical Information**
- Establishes and maintains the delivery of the UKI Medical Information Service adhering to Biogen Standards and National guidelines and relevant codes of practice
- Oversees the management of external provider(s) to ensure quality deliverables of Medical Information Services
- Providing the most up to date information available in response to enquiries.
- Assisting with maintenance/creation of Standard responses to provide to external MI Service Provider
- Literature reviews
- Assistance with training of all BI UKI and external providers on product data and appropriate procedures

**Product Therapy Support**
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base on Biogen therapy products
- As per business need, support the review of promotional and informative material.
- Ensure all material adheres to both the ABPI Code of Practice and the Medicines Act, IPHA code.

Internal/external stakeholder product related training.

**Who You Are**

You are an organized and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize. You have experience handling 2nd line medical information enquires and responses. You are able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

**Qualifications**:

- Primary life sciences degree/qualification
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience in handling 2nd line Medial information enquiries and generating standard responses
- Ability to understand technical, scientific, and medical information
- Ability to search, interrogate and interpret results of database searches
- Ability to work independently on routine and new assignments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience of working in Neurology and/or immunology preferred
- Prior experience training internal staff/vendors
- Vendor management/oversight skills
- Experience being involved in audit procedures
