Pharmacy Assistant (Trainee) - Stores & Dispensary(Band 2 progressing to Band 3 after achievement of level 2 qualification and related experience)

This exciting role will involve a varied rotation between our fully robotic stores and dispensary departments supplying medication to patients and front line wards.

To carry out routine pharmaceutical activities e.g. labelling and dispensing of medicines, receipt and distribution of stock and ward stock top-up

In the Dispensary carrying out routine pharmaceutical activities e.g. labelling and dispensing of medicines.

Whilst working in stores you will be an essential part of stock distribution assisting in minimising waste at pharmacy & ward level and saving nursing time. Manual handling of stock and a significant amount of physical work are key parts of this role.

At ward level after training, you will regularly visit dedicated ward areas to monitor stock levels and expiry dates, working closely with nursing staff.
