Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Packhouse Operative to join our team in Redditch on a 11am-19:30 pm. Monday - Friday.

**Duties**:

- Picking stock against requirements and finalising orders
- Labelling stock and/or checking labels
- Printing order sheets
- Packing stock for despatch
- Carrying out daily checks and escalating any issues
- Rotating stock to ensure adequate supply of quality products
- Carrying out Quality Checks before releasing
- Reporting any shortages, defects or damages
- Ensuring food containing allergens is labelled accordingly and does not contaminate other products
- Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy and free from obstruction
- Ensure pallets are stacked and tidied away correctly
- Printing Sheets for following day Pick requirements - PM
- Counting of Fine Foods - PM
- Stock and Quality checks
- Escalating any issues to FLM or appropriate Manager
- Ensuring food containing allergens are stored in correct area
- Ensuring food containing allergens is labelled accordingly and does not contaminate other products
- Sort and record pallets
- Bail cardboard
- Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy and free from obstruction
- Ensure pallets are stacked and tidied away correctly
- Supporting other areas where required with movement of goods and general housekeeping
- Loading and Unloading as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Basic maths skills for measuring and counting items
- Knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP standards
- Experience in food production or packaging is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge to operate packaging machinery effectively
