**What do we need?**

We are seeking a talented Bar Tender to join our team and support operations at The Peacock at Rowsley.

**About you**:
Working in a fast-paced environment you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, soft drinks, and hot drinks.
- Greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintaining a well-organised and clean bar area. This will include the storage of beverages, glassware, and bar tools.
- Staying informed about the menu and be able to answer questions about ingredients and provide recommendations.
- Adhering to licensing objectives, ensuring responsible service to guests - including checking the identification of guests to verify age and maintain a safe environment.
- Handling cash payments and operate the till system accurately.
- Monitoring and contributing to the management of bar stock, including restocking supplies and notifying management when products need to be ordered.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, including regular cleaning of bar equipment, glassware, and work areas.

Experience in a similar venue would be advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
