Nursery Practitioner

Due to expansion we are looking to recruit for Early Years practitioners to join our nursery. The appointed practitioners must share our love and passion for childcare, and providing the right environment for children to grow and flourish.

We are seeking to appoint a full time practitioners working in our Pre-School room.

Level 3 or above Childcare Practitioner - Must hold a level 3 or above certificate with an approved Early Years qualification. _**NO HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE APPLICANTS PLEASE**_

To start: ASAP

Hours: Working days will be Monday to Friday working a variety of shifts between 7.30am-6.00pm all year round.

Purpose of Post

1. To provide a high standard of physical and emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery.

2. To give support to other personnel within the nursery.

3. To implement the daily routine in the base room.

Key Areas

4. To implement the EYFS.

5. Team Work.

6. Liaise with parents.

Responsible To:
Childcare Manager (Deputy Manager in absence of Childcare Manager)

Core training is provided through extensive CPD opportunities it would be desirable to have prior knowledge in Safeguarding Level 1 and 2, Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Food Safety.

It is an offence under section 76, Childcare Act 2006 to knowingly employ a Disqualified person within a childcare setting. Declarations are in place within the setting to ensure Safeguarding is paramount.
