We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Haringey.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children with special educational needs to provide support and guidance in their learning and development.

You will work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO to implement and review individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans (BMPs) for children with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with children on a one-to-one or small group basis to provide additional support during class activities, such as reading, writing or numeracy tasks
- Support children with SEN to develop their social and communication skills Monitor children's progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
- Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, their families and other professionals involved in their care Requirements:

- At least one year of experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a school setting
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, ideally at Level 3 or above Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- A positive and caring attitude towards children with SEN
