GSL Education are actively looking for few enthusiastic dedicated
**Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant** for our client schools based in
**York **to commence
**ASAP**. You will be teaching a
**KS1** aged class of varying abilities, so the ability to differentiate is essential.

**To be successful in the role you must**:

- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Have experience supporting pupils with learning difficulties.
- Be able to establish meaningful and positive relationships quickly.
- Be supporting pupils inside and outside of the classroom.
- Help pupils to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a **DBS on the update service **or be willing to pay for a new one through GSL Education.
