**Company description**

Based in Havant, Hampshire, ALPS Limited is a major supplier of building products to the construction industry, specialising in ventilation and screening louvres, acoustic and solar shading systems.

**Job Purpose**:
To prepare high quality, profitable job specific tailored quotations, presented in a precise and accurate format combined with a commercial emphasis to deliver a customer focused quotation.

**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the smooth and the efficient running of the Estimating and Sales Department through the timely completion of quotations.
- Produce accurate quotations for louvre, acoustic products and grilles using the Company templates and in line with the sales procedures.
- Produce accurate quotations for solar shading products using the Company templates and in line with the sales procedures.
- Ensure all quotations to be produced in line with the tender specifications.
- Identify any variations of changes to specifications and clearly highlighted within the quotation.
- All customer deadlines to be met or return date improved and identify potential delays.
- On larger identified projects work with the appropriate salesperson for their technical guidance/comments.
- Review Estimating Teams quotations for accuracy and clarity.
- Booking projects onto the CRM system and maintaining records.
- Review and amend pricing matrix as required.
- Demonstrate skill and exercise reasonable care in performance of all duties.
- Compile weekly estimating reports and data for presenting to Senior Management.
- Deputise for Estimating Manager
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
- Assist and provide cover for Estimating Team when required.

**Required Skills / Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years administration experience
- Experience of the construction industry
- Understanding/ability to read construction drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Estimating experience is essential

**Salary**: Negotiable on experience.
