**About the Role**

We’re looking for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to play a key role in driving the current and future performance of our amazing resort.
Whether it’s the iconic theme park itself, one of our five hotels, or water park, you’ll definitely have loads of scope to utilise your financial business partnering skills in a diverse arena.

Reporting to the Senior Business Partner for Alton Towers Resort, you’ll play a key role as part of the senior team, partnering with the departmental managers as well as other functional heads to provide commercially focused financial insight to help drive business success.
You’ll make sure that all the necessary daily and periodic reporting, accounting and financial controls are being delivered, but beyond that, your focus will be to provide financial expertise into key business drivers to help deliver and develop the strategic objectives and annual budget for the resort.
As well as P&L support you’ll be focusing on pricing, yield, margins, operating costs and ultimately profitability, and supporting the business through tactical plans to support the overarching financial objectives of the resort. Utilising sound business acumen you’ll assess new ideas, both from an operational and financial perspective and then to articulate the impacts with clear and meaningful recommendations.

**About You**

You’ll be ideally a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) and be able to demonstrate that your skills go beyond just robust accounting and controls and that you can add real value to business decisions through your analytical approach, commercial intellect and ability to use considered insight to drive the business forward.
- Ability to challenge the status quo, influence stakeholders and peers and build credibility within the business is a must.
