**Role Overview**:
We are looking for an energetic, compassionate Learning Support Assistant with the ability to teach up to GCSE level and a background or interest in sports or physical activities. This role involves working directly with students to provide tailored academic and behavioural support, helping each student engage with learning and build confidence. If you’re someone who can bring a positive, active presence to the classroom, we’d love to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Student Engagement**: Work directly with students, particularly those with SEN or behavioural needs, to support their educational and personal development.
- **Active Learning Support**: Incorporate movement or physical activities where suitable, using an interest in sports to help engage and motivate students.
- **Progress Tracking**: Help monitor and report on students’ progress, assisting in setting individualised goals and communicating with teachers, parents, and stakeholders.

**Ideal Qualities and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in an educational or SEN support role, ideally with exposure to supporting challenging behaviours.
- **Sports Enthusiast**: An interest in sports or physical activities, using it as a tool to connect with and inspire students.
- **Patient & Positive**: A resilient individual who can maintain a supportive, upbeat attitude and use positive behaviour strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications or experience in education, SEN support, or youth work.
- A passion for student engagement and well-being.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
