Our client is the **UK’s biggest end-to-end commercial vehicle fleet management business** managing and maintaining a fleet of over **90,000 vehicles across 81 locations**.

They have an exciting opportunity for a **Finance Assistant **to join a growing team, which will be a **work from home role with some visits to their HQ near Birmingham Airport**.

The **Finance Assistant** will support the Finance Manager and be responsible for reporting, forecasting and providing support towards key business and strategic decisions.

In return, the **Finance Assistant**, can expect a basic salary of **£28k to £32k plus bonus**, enhanced Employer Pension Contribution, Life Assurance Cover, Reward & Recognition Schemes, Health and Wellbeing Schemes plus much more.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Completion of reporting using the management information system, accounts payable and billing data
- Preparation of reporting packs to Operational Managers and the Procurement Team
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts for review by the Finance Managers
- Alongside the Finance Manager act as a finance business partner to the operational and procurement teams providing suitable financial governance and review
- Assist in the development and implementation of improved management information, reporting tools and finance processes

**Requirements, Skills & Experience**
- Minimum of 1 years relevant experience
- Sage or other financial reporting packages
- Proficient with Excel
- Communicating with non-financial stakeholders
- Deliver objectives to deadlines and prioritise workloads

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
