The Financial Reporting team is a part of the wider team of Audit and Assurance, which will give you a great opportunity to collaborate with other teams across Audit and Tax. In your role, you will focus on preparation of complex financial statements (under both IFRS and UK GAAP), consolidations and working for a diverse portfolio of clients.As Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include among othersPreparing complex financial statements (such as consolidation and IFRS)Supporting other managers within the team with various administrative tasks and projects that arise from time to timeEnsuring quality is consistent and to a high level across all outputs.Interacting with clients to undertake accounting work as required - both over telephone/e-mail and potentially occasional on-site client visits.Working closely with the audit and business tax teams to provide a seamless service to clients and ensure deadlines are met.Sharing ideas about how best to operate the accounts preparation process in order to improve efficiencies for the firm.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you shouldHave ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualificationExposure or previous experience in Financial ReportingGreat attention to detailVery good communication skills as you will be collaborating with different teamsDesired SkillsPrevious experience in completing a wide variety of accounts assignments under FRS 102 of varying sizes and complexityPrevious exposure to IFRSPrevious experience on accounting software such as CaseWareAdditional InformationAs a colleague here at S&W you will have access to benefits that includeCompetitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependent)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveFully funded training towards professional qualificationsCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEye care supportWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
