Warehouse/production Operative

The position is based in our factory manufacturing products and processing the despatch of parcels via courier and freight forwarder. It is a busy environment and the role requires good administration and communication skills and attention to detail.
Tasks will include:
- fabrication and assembly of a wide range of display products, including diamond polishing, flame polishing, heat line bending, gluing and guillotine operation
- preparing and processing parcels and pallets for collection
- using our in-house stock control system
- receiving parcels and pallets
You will need:
- a keen eye for detail
- a willingness to learn
- to be able to work to deadlines
- to be able to work independently or as part of a team
Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given. This position would suit an energetic and enthusiastic person with a desire to learn. You will also be trained in other areas of production to cover holidays and sickness. Being a car owner would be advantageous due to the location. Hours are 7am - 3.30pm Mon-Thurs and 7am - 2.30pm Fri.
Other benefits include free on-site parking, non-contributory health care scheme on succcessful completion of probationary period and additional holiday for each full year of service up to a maximum of 28 days (plus bank holidays).
