**Scarborough Young Women and Girls Outreach Service**
Our young women and girls outreach service takes provision onto the streets of Scarborough to engage with ‘hard to reach’ young women and girls. Staff will build trusted relationships and offer person-centred support to:

Move away from offending/anti-social behaviours-
Take positive choicesWe do this by:
Helping young women and girls understand their own behaviour and consequences-
Promoting change-
Working with other support services, including Youth Justice and Early Help teams.-
Providing educational and empowering interventions to offer alternative, more positive, thoughts and choices.This service will be offered using one of our specially adapted vehicles to create an identifiable and safe space for young women and girls, allowing interventions to be taken to known areas of concern.
The best results come from partnership working; therefore we will work alongside pre-existing Community Safety teams and a range of agencies to get the best outcomes for those we support. Our ambition is to empower and encourage individuals to engage with mainstream community based services in order to access what they need on a longer term basis.
The casework service run Monday to Friday in office hours, though the majority of this work will be between the hours of 4pm and 8pm weekday evenings. Central office is St Giles Trust office in York. Although this post will be based in Scarborough.
You will be part of a comprehensive, high quality and client focused Yorkshire Team delivering across St Giles Trust that is mindful of, and promotes the organisation’s Vision, Mission, Values and strategic aims.
**(1) Key Deliverables**:
To produce individual support plans and risk management plans for those we will be providing ongoing support to.-
To promote inter-agency collaboration in the support process, and to include appropriate agencies in the delivery of the service.-
To develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies, including Early Help and Youth Justice teams, and Community Safety partners.-
To support individuals to access and engage with support agencies.-
To deliver a holistic support service working independently or with colleagues as the situation dictates; providing a support service that will include confidence building and self-awareness along with interventions aimed at preventing criminal and sexual exploitation, grooming, violence, sharing inappropriate media content.-
To close cases efficiently and positively, identifying a success plan for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for on-going support and agencies that can be used if serious problems develop in the future.-
To have links with agencies providing services to the client group, to be aware of referral routes and to actively promote good partnerships and effective joint working.-
To promote the value of lifestyle changes to the client group.-
To assist with providing monitoring information and the evaluation of the project.-
To maintain accurate records of casework and data collection.-
To implement the policies and procedures of St Giles Trust currently in force.-
To attend and engage positively with training as required, this includes mandatory training such as Safeguarding and Prevent and other training agreed with your manager-
