We employ more than 600 HSSE specialists across our Work Dynamics business. Our primary areas of safety focus are in our Facilities Management and Project & Development Services. Until now, our HSSE management has been built around local and regional structures. However, with the increasing globalization of our client base, we are now seeking to implement a global HSSE programme to deliver the global consistency and excellence our clients and shareholders demand and our people deserve..
What this job involves
Implement JLL's HSE strategies for client accounts while ensuring operational relevance
Manage operational risks through assessments, hazard identification and control measures
Maintain compliance with regulations, ISO 45001 standards, and client requirements
Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and KPIs to stakeholders
Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and share lessons learned
Maintain legal registers and track legislative changes across multiple countries
Foster safety culture through training, engagement, and special initiatives
Build effective relationships with client teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Ensure third-party compliance with JLL and client HSE standards
Deliver regular reporting and participate in governance meetings
This role requires balancing technical HSE expertise with strategic client relationship management to drive safety performance across facility management operations.
3-5 years EH&S management experience with operational management systems
Experience with health and safety compliance in facility management operations
Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Recognized EH&S qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH)
Auditor qualifications (preferred)
Willingness to travel within UK and Europe
Ability to deliver EH&S training to large groups
Capacity to work with mínimal supervision
Strategic partnering and influencing abilities
Proactive approach to safety management with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to establish credibility at all organizational levels
Knowledge of international HSSE Management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
Results-oriented with ability to provide innovative solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Incident investigation and root cause analysis expertise
Self-motivated with good organizational abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Cultural awareness with ability to operate across geographies
