We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all incoming payments are processed and allocated accurately to applicable debts. This role requires individuals to keep a precise record of all incoming payments, keeping unallocated cash and bank reconciliation queries to a minimum. Specialists in this role will reconcile branch bank receipts to tills, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

**Role Responsibilities will include**:

- Identify and track incoming payments ensuring applied to the correct sales ledger account/debt;
- Reconcile branch tills, identify and resolve any differences and filing till reports electronically;
- Manage cash accounts;
- Support the accounts receivable team additional tasks;
- Work collaboratively with other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances;
- Assist with audits where required;
- Ensure that financial records meet with company standards.

**About You**:
We are looking for an organised, confident, highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. Accounts receivable specialists should be detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and be work collaboratively with others.
- Have experience of working in a busy finance department with a accounts receivable background
- Work well within a team as well as on your own as both will be required to process, organise and reconcile a high volume of complex customer accounts.
- Be highly organised with the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
