**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Do you want to be responsible for key functions including P&L, risk reporting, month end close, detailed financial analysis, leveraging data analytics and data management tools?
As a Retail Banking Product Controller in ICB Controller team, you will be responsible to partner to develop and build out the Retail Product Control Function responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the line of business books and records with key functions including P&L, month end close, detailed financial analysis, quarterly earnings release, regulatory reporting, leveraging data analytics and data management tools and working with the business to manage robust controls for new initiatives, acquisitions, and product support. We also manage infrastructure that would enhance analytical review and financial reporting and strengthen the controls surrounding these processes.
**Job responsibilities**
- Support the Finance ED Controller
- Partner to develop and build out the Retail Product Control Function for the business
- Actively participate in the monthly close, quarterly earnings release, regulatory reporting, and financial disclosures
- Participation in the retail banking product cabinets
- Key participant in the assessment of US GAAP (and UK GAAP/IFRS) treatment of retail banking products in existing and future markets
- Representing ICB Finance & Business Management for retail banking related products at forums and senior stakeholder meetings
- Building and curating strong relationships with the second line functions
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- extensive finance/accounting/LEC/regulatory reporting/products - related experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- CPA/CA
- Excellent depth of knowledge and understanding of Retail products
- Strong experience in Retail banking Product Control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Advanced Excel (Pivot tables and vlookup, sumifs), Word and Powerpoint

- Excellent analytical acumen, with ability to understand, produce and explain income statement and balance sheet content and variances
- Strong attention to detail, ability to deep dive on processes/issues and improve controls/efficiencies
- Ability to partner effectively with others, as well as act as an advisor to business partners within the lines of business or legal entity chains
