Job Description Bank Receptionist -Stourside Hospital - Bank Hours The role We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our Administration team. This post is for a Bank Receptionist where you will be called in to work as and when the business needs, there could be very busy or quieter times. You will work with delivering exceptional standards of administration support across the variety of departments within the Hospital. A requirement for this role is shift work as well as one Saturday a month. This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, Consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, the ability to work within a team and adaptable. You must be computer literate - experience with Word and Outlook being essential. Previous use of an Electronic Patient Record system would be an advantage. Where you’ll be based Stourside hospital is an extension of services being delivered by sister hospital, West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. Located just 100 metres from the Lion Health surgery, Stourside is a single storey development of modern design. The hospital provides access to high quality, patient centred healthcare services for private, insured and NHS patients within the local community and further afield. What you will bring with you - Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent - Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral. - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases - Positive, willing attitude - Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and above all customer service skills.
