**JOB TITLE**: Learning and Development
**JOB TYPE**: Permanent
**SALARY**: £35,264 - £42, 803
**HOURS**: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
**LOCATION**: Gillingham and Maidstone (between two sites, worked on a rota)

**DUTIES**:
- Develop an L&D strategy and quality of L&D delivery
- Manage the L&D budget, and contribute to the business planning process and develop talent management, succession planning and induction programmes
- Work closely with department heads to introduce ideas and programmes that ensure the workforce is upskilled to deliver the key strategic aims
- Develop a robust approach to organisational CPD and industry upskilling to ensure engagement at all levels and an appropriate process is introduced to ensure recording of all CPD and enable tracking and reporting.
- Support the development of training and qualifications for staff to ensure they meet the needs of the department
- Set up and undertake evaluation of internal and external training to ensure it provides a return on investment and make recommendations to address issues and make improvements.
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
- Proven experience within a L&D role
- Qualified at CIPD level 7, or willing to work towards
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent team motivation skills
- Positive approach
