Our Head of Finance will be responsible for leading all our financial operations from our Worcester Office.

With exceptional attention to detail, you, as our Head of Finance, will have a fundamental role in devising company financial strategy, forecasting and team management at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Develop and implement financial strategies for the company.
- Provide leadership to the finance department team.
- Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results.
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Engage with senior management to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting process.
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
- Review, understand and document product costing process end to end and drive improvements / alternative approaches.
- Ensure monthly closing processes are accomplished with accuracy and completed in accordance with reporting timelines.
- Perform accounting activities in compliance with financial, regulatory, and internal accounting policies and guidelines.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Proven experience in a senior finance position, ideally within the Construction industry or similar.
- Formal Accounting Qualification is required (CIMA ACCA).
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MA or MBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial law and financial risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- Strong business acumen.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Sage.
- Driving License.

This is an office-based role and would require the successful Head of Finance to attend Monday-Friday at Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX.
