**DESCRIPTION**: Due to continued growth in the volume, value and complexity of consultancy work awarded, ensuring the sustainability of the energy industry and supporting the transition to greener fuels such as Hydrogen, ROSEN UK requires a Project Planner to work closely with both Sales and Project teams. You will ensure that larger jobs are planned and executed correctly throughout the project life cycle whilst maintaining the required levels of quality.

The role will involve working with Project Managers, engineers, management and technicians at all levels and from other disciplines within the business on commercial client projects.

You will support the development of and adherence to project schedules, through regular and effective communications with all parties, identifying potential issues very early on and recommending mitigation if required. All monitoring and control measures will be yours to manage throughout the lifecycle of the project and you will update stakeholders on project status at regular intervals.

The role and key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring and control planning activities through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Preparing updates to project manpower requirements and project plans
- Assessing and communicate schedule impact of change notifications
- Analysing and reporting on project performance in relation to planned performance
- Participating in Project Controls Compliance and Continuous Improvement Reviews

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Sound knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Project and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well organised with experience of working on / prioritising between multiple projects
- Proactive individual but yet reactive to unexpected project developments
- Relevant planning experience in a fast paced engineering environment.
- Knowledge of project costings and Tendering processes
- Basic understanding of project schedules, plans and resources
