**What you will be doing**
As an **Asset Integration Engineer**, you will be joining the Thames Water Major Projects Group and working to ensure the successful delivery of the **Tideway Tunnel Project.** Your involvement will be in all aspects of the asset delivery process; ensuring changes required to operate the new plant are effectively managed.
You’ll be accountable for the verification and acceptance of project documentation including project delivery, commissioning and test plans and identifying risks and issues that could impact delivery, and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
Thames Water has a Zero Compromise approach to Health, Safety, Wellbeing, and the Environment, and you’ll work collaboratively to aid the wellbeing of team members and colleagues and actively promote the Thames Water ‘Three Zeros’ culture associated with ourhealth and safety performance. These are, ‘Zero Incidents, Zero Harm & Zero Compromise’.
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Ensuring project construction and handover documentation is being produced by the Main Contractors to the correct specification and requirements
- Assessing and reporting project documentation progress, acting to rectify issues, and escalating where necessary
- Engaging with the wider Construction and Design Assurance, Technical Information and Operations Teams to ensure effective project delivery
- Verifying Operations requirements to operate new assets, escalating issues, and supporting a resolution to achieve Take Over by Thames Water
- Monitoring and reporting on the agreed post 'Take Over' outstanding works
- Management of the Defects Process
**We’re looking for you to**:
- Be qualified in NEBOSH, IOSH General or Construction Certificate, or SMSTS or equivalent construction-related Health and Safety qualification
- Experienced in the handover and documentation process of a major construction project
- Be self-starting, resilient, and tenacious under pressure, with a desire to successfully deliver projects
- Demonstrate excellent communication and contractor management skills
- Possess organisation and workload management skills
- Can work with a multi-discipline engineering team.
- Have a full driving licence as travel will be required to construction and operational sites across the Thames Water catchment area
