Administrative/ Billing Assistant

One of the country's largest firm of costs lawyers and law costs draftsmen is looking to recruit an Administrative/ Billing Assistant to work from the Bristol city centre branch and join our growing team.
We provide legal costing, negotiation, advocacy and advisory services to Solicitors.
An assistant is required to work with our legal aid billing team.
**You will require**:
- Proven administrative experience
- Organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Verbal and Written Communication skills proven at all levels
- Customer relationship skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team with a strong work ethic
- IT knowledge of Microsoft Office
- An ability to understand new programmes quickly
- Initiative in respect of problem solving and dealing with new IT software/ file formats
- Good experience of Outlook and Excel
- GSCE grades -A-C in Maths and English
**Duties**:
- Assisting with the processing of Legal Aid claims
- Keeping spreadsheets up to date
- Communicating with clients and providing updates
- Liaising with the Legal Aid Agency
- Liaising with Costs Draftsmen
- Liaising with Chambers
The role is office based and training will be provided.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £18,500.00 per year
