A new exciting opportunity for the HR Assistant has arisen with one of our local clients.
It's a great opportunity for someone who's got some HR experience and has (or is working towards) CIPD Qualifications.
Knowledge of the HR practices and employment law would be an advantage bus it not essential.
So, if you're looking to take your HR carrier to the next level then this is the role for you
It's a full time, Monday to Friday role, offering a salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 pa.
- General day-to-day HR administration duties; SAGE database housekeeping and reporting, attendance reporting, change of condition letters, holiday queries, new starter documents, leaver documents etc.
- Liaison with payroll, communicating changes effectively.
- Support employee engagement and employee communication initiatives.
- Provide advice to employees and managers on all HR matters, including benefits, recruitment, policy, process and terms and conditions of employment
- Provide support and organisation for all ER case management, including dispute resolutions, grievance, disciplinary, retirement, LTS, absence and redundancy. Ensuring efficient, effective and timely resolution.
- Work with confidential and sensitive information ensuring consistency and adherence to HR procedures are carried out company wide.
- Schedule and assist in probationary reviews and appraisals defining career and personal development plans.
- Assist in developing HR policy and procedures to drive performance.
- Ensure employee handbook is coherent, relevant and up to date regarding statutory obligations.
- Produce and analyse HR metrics on key HR and Business KPI’s.
- Liaise and support all other departments as needed in order to support M&N business objectives and develop the forward progression of the Company.
Other requirements:

- Driving license
- Willingness to travel for work (occasionally)
- Ability to work remotely from home (occasionally)
