Langdon has an exciting opportunity for two Work & Learning Coaches to join their growing team in North London.

Langdon are an ambitious forward thinking Learning Disability charity working with the Jewish Community. Langdon was founded 30 years ago and we now help over 100 young Jewish people with learning disabilities by providing education, supported living andemployment services. Whilst we support the Jewish community, we celebrate and benefit from the diversity of the communities in which we are based and welcome applicants from all backgrounds

Working as a Work and Learning Coach at Langdon you will feel enormously rewarded. You can use your skills and passion to make a real difference to Jewish adults with a Learning Disability and Autism.

**Work and Learning Coach** - The Role:
The purpose of the job is to provide coaching, support and guidance to adults with learning disabilities looking at moving into employment. You will support member’s to identify their strengths, skills and interests ensuring job matching and coaching planswhich will enable the member to thrive in employment. You will work closely with the employer to ensure they are supported and can confidently manage and train their employee once your support has been withdrawn.

As a Work and Learning Coach you will:

- Manage a caseload of member’s with learning disabilities with the specific objective of supporting and enabling them to move into sustainable learning and employment opportunities
- To conduct regular reviews to ensure members are progressing within their roles and to identify and meet new support needs
- To build up natural support within employers and taper off one 1:1 job coaching over time

**Work and Learning Coach** - You:
You are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to become independent. Ideally you have some experience in supported employment, training or similar role. You have an outgoing, positive, empathetic, assertive personalityand a clear and straightforward communication style.
