**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans will be vital in delivering high-quality care tailored to each individual's needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support individuals in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance.
- Follow care plans meticulously to ensure each resident receives the appropriate level of care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions accurately.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in care practices.

**Skills**
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to drive is advantageous for roles involving home visits.
- Proficient IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Strong command of the English language for effective communication with residents and colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Understanding of how to implement care plans effectively to meet individual needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 - 50 per week
