**MAIN JOB PURPOSE**
The Marketing Campaigns Lead will lead the development, coordination, and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns that directly support Chamber membership recruitment, retention, and sector-specific engagement such as roundtables. This role requires a higher-level marketing skillset, with expertise in paid advertising, analytics, and campaign strategy, ensuring that all activity aligns with Chamber objectives and drives measurable impact.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that align with membership recruitment and retention objectives. Working with the Membership Team to ensure campaigns are aligned with recruitment and retention KPIs.
- Develop end-to-end campaign plans, including objectives, target audiences, key messages, channels, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee campaign schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery.
- Segment audiences effectively using CRM data to ensure campaigns are targeted and personalised.
- Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.), optimising for ROI.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, exceeding expectations through advice, guidance, signposting, and collaborative opportunities.
- Test and refine campaign creative, messaging, and delivery methods to maximise performance. Analyse campaign performance, digital engagement metrics, and sector outreach results.
- Use A/B testing and data-driven insights to optimise campaigns in real time.
- Oversee use of CRM to log campaign activity, track leads, and monitor member engagement.
- Build automation workflows for lead nurturing, renewals, and member onboarding campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns comply with GDPR and data protection standards.
- Provide post-campaign evaluations, highlighting successes, ROI, and areas for improvement. Produce regular reports for the Senior Management Team and Board on campaign impact, member recruitment trends, and retention activity.
- Manage consistency and usage of Chamber’s brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the wider teams to design marketing plans that increase attendance and sponsorship uptake.
- Team lead the marketing team providing clear direction and mentoring. Allocating workloads, ensuring delivery of high-quality marketing outputs.
- Ensure the development of high-quality creative assets and web content to maximise campaign reach.
- Stay up to date with industry best practice in marketing, digital advertising, and analytics.
- Monitor competitor and partner marketing activity, bringing forward recommendations to strengthen Chamber positioning.
- Represent the Chamber brand externally and internally, acting as a visible advocate for across events, partnerships, and communications.
**Skills and Experience**
- Proven track record (3+ years) in planning, managing, and delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with SEO, with the ability to optimise campaigns for maximum reach and ROI.
- Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure performance, evaluate impact, and inform improvements.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, with the ability to tailor campaigns appropriately.
- Familiarity with content management systems and web design principles to ensure engaging and effective digital presence.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to produce compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Experienced in managing paid digital advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager) to support campaign objectives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships.
