**HR Advisor: Permanent: Manchester based with hybrid working available: Paying £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits**

Morson are currently partnering with our third sector client to find a confident and experienced HR Advisor to join their organisation on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will join a small and friendly team and will be requiredto provide generalist HR support across the business, developing relationships internally and externally whilst providing solutions in partnership with managers and staff.

The HR Advisor will business partner managers at all levels to develop solutions within services and coach line managers on people responsibilities to increase their capability and enable them to manage their people issues effectively. The HR Advisor willprovide advice to line managers on the full range of HR issues, including disciplinary, grievances, absence management, terms and conditions of employment, restructures, TUPE and performance management. Further responsibilities include, but are not limitedto:

- Managing a caseload of 10-20 employee relations issues, advising accordingly and seeing through to resolution
- Providing pragmatic, creative and business focussed solutions and recommendations to line managers and staff
- Ensuring line managers embrace policies and implement best practice wherever possible
- Managing ET Claims for individual business areas working in conjunction with legal advisers
- To attend employment tribunals
- Contributing to the creation and amendment of relevant and compliant policies and procedures
- Providing an accurate, timely and effective service to line managers and staff
- Ensuring integrated solutions are delivered and progress monitored
- Ensuring technical knowledge and expertise is maintained
- Demonstrating knowledge of the business in the provision of the HR service and associated solutions
- Providing written reports, documents, advice notes and other materials as required
- Participating in organisational project groups, including research work
- Providing relevant management information and trend analysis to the business, maximising the use of all HR systems
- Delivering training, learning and development interventions where necessary
- Gathering, translating, interpreting and circulating relevant information from parties involved in HR issues

To be considered for this opportunity, substantial HR advisory experience with sound and current employment law knowledge is essential.

A CIPD qualification at level 5 or above is highly desirable.
